WHO WE ARE

iMax Media is a fully-owned Ghanaian private multimedia broadcasting organization that operates one television and two radio channels, namely: Max TV – A digital terrestrial free-to-air channel based in Accra and Max FM – [Accra] | Maximum FM [Takoradi].

iMax is also a stakeholder in with StarTimes, a broadcast organization that runs a satellite pay TV service, and StarTimes ON App. This partnership has seen the creation of the Adepa TV channel customized for Ghanaian audience on the StarTimes platform. The content for Adepa is produced and broadcast locally from Max TV’s studios.

The partnership between iMax and StarTimes has also seen a synergizing of their sales effort, with the creation of a new Business Development Unit, responsible for marketing the total broadcast offering of iMax [Max TV / Max FM / Maximum FM] and StarTimes (StarTimes/Adepa TV/ StarTimes ON App).

Max TV has the capacity to execute live coverage and broadcast of projects via an ultramodern HD Outside Broadcast (OB) Van, owned by our partner StarTimes.

VIRTUAL REALITY & ADVERTISING

Max TV has installed capacity for virtual advertising which allows us to insert virtual advertising images into a live or pre-recorded television programmes, especially sports productions for live broadcasts.

RADIO STUDIO

Max FM 89.7 has just transitioned from test transmission has the capacity to execute live coverage and broadcast of projects via an ultra-modern HD Outside Broadcast (OB) Van, owned by our partner StarTimes.
